My books are the fictional account of the people I serve in Juarez, Mexico. Love and Literacy provides books and activities in Spanish to encourage children to read and to stay in school. Follow my adventures on Facebook at Love and Literacy. All proceeds from the sale of my books help purchase more books in Spanish for the children of the neighborhood where the mission is located. I am a retired bilingual Spanish teacher and serve as a part-time missionary in Juarez, Mexico. Originally from Mississippi, I currently live in Texas where I enjoy teaching ESL, helping with immigration paperwork, horseback riding, kayaking, and spending time with my grandchildren.
